What changed, and why.

Every change to Roadworthy HQ you would notice, newest first. Each one is listed once it is live, with the date and where it came from. When a customer asks for something and it ships, it is listed here as asked by a customer.

Our own find
We found it or decided on it ourselves: in testing, in a review, or in our own audit of the product against the rules.

October 2026

  1. Our own find

A new side-by-side of FileFlo and Roadworthy HQ for a 1–10-truck fleet: what each costs at 1, 4 and 10 trucks, how each reads your documents, retention, and the audit export. See it

  2. Our own find

All 100 violation pages were checked row by row against FMCSA's SMS Appendix A (version 3.21), and 73 of them were corrected. See it

  3. Our own find

The MCS-150 guide was rewritten from FMCSA's current form and filing guides, and the MCS-150 reminder emails now point you to record the filing date in Settings. See it

  4. Our own find

Signup now accepts every USDOT number, 1 to 8 digits, and asks when you last filed your MCS-150; record a new filing in Settings and the next due date moves forward.

  5. Required by the rule

When a full Clearinghouse query shows a driver is prohibited from safety-sensitive work, the driver is flagged Do not dispatch on the profile and the driver list, shows as not cleared in the driver portal, and a critical email alert goes out.

    §382.701(d)

  6. Required by the rule

Following FMCSA's October 8 notice, the medical-card guide and the medical-certificate reminder emails say a paper medical examiner's certificate stops counting as proof for CDL and CLP holders licensed outside Alaska on October 12, 2026. See it

    91 FR 64454

  7. Our own find

The free audit-timeline, audit-readiness and random-testing tools are listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory, so ChatGPT can run them and cite the rule behind each number. See it

  8. Our own find

Post-accident testing windows now run on the accident's own time zone, so a test no longer shows as overdue hours before its deadline.

  9. Our own find

Alerts set off by an event, such as a post-accident testing window, now go out within about five minutes instead of waiting for the next daily run.

  10. Our own find

A new-entrant safety audit is now recorded as pass or fail, because safety audits don't produce a safety rating, and a compliance review records its rating with the date a proposed Unsatisfactory would stop operations.

    §385.3§385.13(a)

  11. Our own find

The audit-prep checklist now flags as an automatic failure only what is on FMCSA's automatic-failure table.

    §385.321(b)

September 2026

  1. Our own find

Enter the date your USDOT number was granted and the dashboard shows where you are in the 18-month new-entrant monitoring period, counted in months.

    §385.307

  2. Our own find

A new free tool, Can FMCSA reach you?, shows the legal name and physical address FMCSA has on file for a USDOT number, with a link to the full record; signup shows the same check. See it

  3. Required by the rule

Owners and managers can now file previous-employer investigation records on a driver's file, and the driver can't see them, because the rule limits who may.

    §391.53(a)

  4. Our own find

Driver logins are now read-only and limited to the driver's own records throughout the system, not only in the portal's screens.

  5. Our own find

Each driver has an HOS records tab for ELD log exports, short-haul time records and supporting documents, each kept for at least six months.

    §395.8(k)(1)

  6. Our own find

When you record a post-accident drug or alcohol test, you can pick the accident it's for, and that closes the accident's testing window.

  7. Our own find

Expiry reminders, like the medical card's, now repeat at every renewal; before, each one went out only once per driver or vehicle.

  8. Our own find

Every statement about the product across the site, from the homepage and pricing to the violation pages, blog posts, state guides, free tools and alert emails, was checked against what the app does and corrected where it said more.

  9. Our own find

Upload a document to a driver's file and the app suggests what it is and its dates; you confirm before it's filed. See it

  10. Our own find

Company documents, like the MCS-150 filing confirmation, can now be uploaded from the Documents page, so the setup checklist's third step can be finished.

  11. Our own find

On a phone, the driver page's tabs now scroll instead of running off the screen, links are easier to tap, and adding a driver ends with a saved confirmation.

  12. Our own find

Fixed: saving a driver's profile, or recording a drug test, MVR review or Clearinghouse query, ended on an error page; all of them save again.

  13. Our own find

A new guide to hiring your first CDL driver: the paperwork, in the order it has to happen. See it

  14. Our own find

Signup keeps your email and the terms checkbox when something needs fixing, and states the actual password rule instead of a raw error message.
